We design, install and commission the complete package in-house: roof-mounted panels on homes and garden rooms, battery storage that keeps excess energy for a reliable supply and backup during outages, and solar compatible immersion heating such as the Solar iBoost+.

Installs in our archive include a solar system at Braceborough, near Stamford. We also regularly retrofit voltage optimisation to older existing systems, producing extra energy and adding to the customer’s annual yield, and we test, maintain, repair and upgrade systems originally installed by others.

We install electric vehicle charging points for homes and workplaces, including solar compatible chargers that help to reduce your carbon footprint and your reliance on costly fossil fuels further.

In Rutland we post-mounted a car charger in a customer’s garden border and installed four charging points at a Rutland factory. Further charge points went in at a factory in Cannock, and in July 2022 we began installing solar compatible charging points.

Holywell Hall is a magnificent Grade II listed country estate, extensively renovated into a stunning wedding and events venue. Alongside the manor house, the estate features a church, boat house, orangery, fishing pavilion and cottages.

We provided complete renovation of the house’s electrical infrastructure, working closely with Ross Thain Architects to keep original features intact. Lighting was designed for ceremony, dining and entertainment spaces, and the system was built to cope with the large loads of entertainment and catering suppliers.

Outside, the mile-long driveway received ground lights for a dramatic approach, while terraces and reception areas got landscape lighting, uplighters and spotlights. The church, boathouse and orangery were refurbished with lighting that creates impact without detracting from the buildings by day. The client was so pleased that we continue to provide ongoing maintenance for the estate and grounds.

Linecross is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of polymer and polyurethane composite products, with energy intensive machinery at its Rutland and Cannock factories. We have a longstanding relationship with the team.

We supply five-year periodic inspection and testing, complete any required fixes and issue certification to British Standard requirements. We also provide regular infrared thermography to catch unbalanced loads, poor connections and deteriorated insulation that can’t be seen by the naked eye.

New LED lighting reduces running costs by up to 60%, extends lamp life and has improved lighting levels on the factory floor. Power supply upgrades allow the system to accommodate a growing portfolio of machines, which our engineers install alongside Linecross maintenance staff with minimal disruption to production.

Rutland Cycling’s Leicester superstore was the first phase of a £30m development at Everards Meadows. The unit was bought as an empty shell, so it needed a complete electrical installation that followed the brand’s corporate guidelines and guided the customer journey.

Specialist light boxes bring signage and graphics to life, branded LED light boxes illuminate the logo, and display lighting presents merchandise at its best. LED track systems let spot and pendant lights shift position as offers change, and our engineers created a one-of-a-kind centrepiece in the atrium from old bike wheels and a bespoke lighting mechanism.

We provided a similar lighting and electrical solution at the client’s Milton Keynes store, and earlier fitted out their Cambridge Station store and bike hire room and a retro-style lighting refurbishment at Grafham.

Previously a Prezzo, the restaurant needed a complete refurbishment to deliver the owners’ vision of a holistic dining experience inspired by pan-Asian and Japanese street food.

A completely bespoke package gives each area its own identity. A scene-setting LED dimming system allows different moods through the day and night, while powder coated trunking, cable trays and metal conduits make the electrical system part of the industrial-inspired interior design.

A colour changing stairwell and bar and canopy lighting for a year-round outdoor area complete the scheme. Hoppi Dorri opened at the beginning of August 2019 to a fully booked restaurant.

As part of the electrical fit-out for main contractors 7formation, we carried out the installation at Ridgeons’ new branch in Coldhams Business Park, Cambridge.

After a site visit comparing traditional steel cable tray with wire basket for the overhead containment, we chose the FastConnect range from Tamlex. The conditions in the store and the number of cables made it ideal: its coupling system and readily available bends, tees and risers allowed a fast installation with on-site flexibility.
